 Credit Union Christmas Cash Draw
The much anticipated Roscrea Credit Union Christmas Cash Draw took place on Thursday evening last in the Damer Court Hotel. M.C for the event Brian King welcomed all the participants their families and friends to the draw. The overall winner of the grand prize of €17,000.00 was John Cunningham who was joined on the night by his family and friends including his wife Margaret and son Darragh.

Other winners on the night included Majella Carey who walked away with a cheque for €5000.00. Kathleen Browne won €3000.00 while Delia Deegan was winner of €2000.00. Maisie Minogue won €1500.00 and five individual prizes of €1000.00 each went to Colin Keown, Michael Quinlan, Patrick Delaney, Francis McDonald and Canice Sheeran
In an effort to help Roscrea Chamber Of Commerce and their desire for people to shop local this Christmas, the Credit Union committed to having all the money won by the participants available first thing Friday morning to help with their Christmas shopping should they so wish. Brian King wearing his Chamber Of Commerce hat for a few moments appealed to people to do as much of their shopping locally as possible.
